A night to remember at London’s legendary Natural History Museum marked a career-defining moment for Alberto Di Guida, who was crowned UK Editorial Winner at the prestigious Wella Professionals TrendVision Award 2025 UK & Ireland Final.
The annual TrendVision Award has become one of the most celebrated competitions in the global hairdressing calendar, recognizing visionary talent and outstanding craftmanship.
More than 520 guests — including industry icons, creative teams, and salon professionals — gathered beneath the iconic blue whale of Hintze Hall for a night of inspiration, artistry, and celebration.

The Winning Look — Metallic Beehive
Alberto’s award-winning creation, “Metallic Beehive,” reimagines the iconic 1960s silhouette with a futuristic, editorial flair — blending metallic tones, sculpted volume, and refined minimalism to create a bold, chic statement of strength and sophistication.
The result is a sculptural yet fluid shape — a modern reinterpretation of classic volume that radiates power, elegance, and chic refinement.
"My goal was to fuse the timeless structure of the beehive with a futuristic, editorial edge, capturing both strength and sophistication in every movement," explains Alberto.
The colour palette combined rich, cool brunette tones with a striking ice-grey highlight, subtly enhanced by a darker gray reflections to add depth, contrast, and luminosity.
All work — from colouring to cutting and styling — was completed live within the competition’s strict five-hour time frame.

💫 A Celebration of Creativity and CraftThroughout the day, the finalists showcased their artistry live on stage. As evening fell, the Natural History Museum transformed into a spectacular stage of creativity.
The event opened with a drinks reception, followed by an elegant gala dinner and live shows from leading artists, culminating in the announcement of the 2025 winners. When Alberto’s name was called as the UK Editorial Award Winner, the room erupted in applause — marking a moment of triumph and pride for both artist and salon. |

He will now collaborate with Wella Professionals on a photoshoot with an industry photographer and mentor to create the 2025 Winners’ Collection, featured in trade press and Wella campaigns.
